I was hesitant to try these after so may bad experiences with bud type Bluetooth headsets .
I’m glad I bought these they are by far the best headphones I’ve ever had for both listening and talking

I recently purchased the Shokz OPENCOMM2 Bluetooth headset, and it has exceeded my expectations in various aspects.
User Experience (5/5): The OPENCOMM2 offers an excellent user experience. The setup process was seamless, and the user-friendly controls make navigation a breeze. Pairing with my devices was quick and hassle-free.
Audio Quality (4.5/5): The sound quality is outstanding, delivering crisp highs and deep lows. The open-ear design provides a unique audio experience that allows me to stay aware of my high risk surroundings while taking calls. The kind of heads up operational attention required in heavy machine work sites that you simply can’t get any other way.
Comfort and Fit (5/5): The lightweight design and ergonomic fit make the OPENCOMM2 exceptionally comfortable, even during extended use. The bone conduction technology ensures a snug fit without compromising comfort. I regularly put it on around 4am and struggle to remember that I still have it on when showering at night.
Battery Life (4/5): The battery life is commendable, providing hours of use on a single charge. While it meets my daily needs, an all day battery life would be a welcome improvement.

Build Quality (4.5/5): The build quality is excellent with one suggested improvement below, with durable materials that feel premium. The headset is sweat-resistant, making it suitable for work outdoors.
Microphone Performance (5/5): The dual noise cancelling microphone is my favourite feature, delivering crystal-clear call quality, even in noisy environments. The OPENCOMM2 excels in ensuring clear communication during phone calls and virtual meetings.
Shopping Experience (5/5): My overall shopping experience with Shokz was excellent. The website was user-friendly, and the purchase process was straightforward. The timely delivery and responsive customer support further enhanced my satisfaction.
Improvement Suggestions.
1. The on and off notices are quieter than normal speech which in noisy environments make it difficult to tell if the unit is on or off before answering calls. This means lost calls and worse, the machine has to be stopped to return lost calls. That can be inconvenient or dangerous.
2. The charging system, while far superior than a micro USB versions, still isn’t robust enough.
The magnet hooks on to things and suffers stress it wasn’t built for. Bigger and tougher please. It’s a rough life out there.
3. Battery life could be improved to cover the 12 hour plus shifts some of us do. It’s so light the battery / button boxes each side behind the pads could be easily doubled in size for big men without any change in comfort. Maybe a textured inside surface to allow for sweat.
4. Perhaps a truckers / roughnecks model could be investigated. There’s a LOT of guys out there working the hard yards and need rugged comms equipment that can keep up. Australian Army Combat Standard.
Talk to marketing. There’s a lot of customers who need this if only you can reach them.
In conclusion, the Shokz OPENCOMM2 is a game-changer in the world of Bluetooth headsets. Its innovative design, top-notch audio quality, and comfortable fit make it a standout choice. I’ve been through numerous cheaper versions, none of which delivered outside of air conditioned environments.

I was recommended these by a colleague after I complained about the mic on my existing headphones.
They arrived on my doorstep within 2 days of purchase! I use them at work in an open office space that isn't all that quiet and I can leave the mic off mute without background noise disturbing the meeting. I also recently attended a meeting virtually whilst riding home to pick up my kids from school and my colleagues could hear me loud and clear WHILST RIDING (at relative speed - I was running late) without any wind noise. Being able to mute/unmute myself from the mic was much easier than using the phone. They fit comfortably under my helmet (the mic tucks away nicely if not needed) and I feel much safer on my bike listening to podcasts whilst still able to hear the traffic around me. I was concerned that background noise via air conduction would bother me whilst I tried to concentrate on the bone conduction of meeting content but it's really not an issue. In fact it's a benefit because you can tell if someone is sneaking up behind you to interrupt.
I would recommend checking that your workplace computer has a Bluetooth functionality before purchase. I assumed mine did, but they don't and won't install. I had to go back and buy the USB transmitter separately but it's cheaper in the bundle. The USB arrived with similar lightning speed.

I am using these for online lessons and are working well. I can hear clearly and the student can hear me. So much better than the wired headphones I used before attached to the computer and pressure of the headphones and glasses on my ears gave me a headache. These are a great solution. Only downside is the sound quality of the music through the online platform isn't as clear but weighed up, I still prefer these
